About

I received my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of San Diego. I have expertise in evidence-based approaches, including Mindfulness and Self-Compassion Practices, Narrative Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My work and clinical experiences have included the University of California San Diego in the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health, Monarch Schools and at the CSU Institute of Palliative Care at California State University San Marcos.

In addition, I am on faculty at California State University San Marcos where I teach on campus in the Psychology Department and lead the Positive Psychology study abroad classes. I have traveled with students to Australia, Germany, Austria, France and Spain. Also at CSUSM I lead mindfulness workshops for students, am actively involved in the Academic Senate, committee work and mentorship.

I especially enjoy providing holistic and evidence-based treatment for teens and adults.

I look forward to working with you.
